Meet Harry aka Artie! A895743.

Harry is a 3-yr-old beagle mix in foster care with Pima Animal Care Center, Tucson, AZ. Harry loves all of the people he meets! If we were to guess at his breeds, we would say Beagle and Boston Terrier, but that is just a guess. He has the Beagle bark, and a happy—go-lucky personality, Beagle ears, and the coloring of both a Beagle and a Boston. He is about the height of a 13-inch beagle, but he is also quite wide! He weighed 45 pounds at intake, and he needs to lose at least 20 pounds! He is on healthy weight dog food, and is now getting regular exercise, so hopefully those pounds will start to melt away. Despite the extra weight, he loves going for his walks!

Harry is 100% non-destructive in the house when left alone, and has zero separation anxiety. He is house trained with a dog door. He gets along with some of the dogs in his foster home and others not so much, so a meet and greet and slow introduction is necessary for a good fit. He would be perfectly happy as an only dog. He really prefers people to dogs. Harry is protective of his food and must be fed in a separate area from other dogs.
