6-4-26: Hello everyone, my name is JOURNEE, and just like that great 80's rock band that I am lovingly named after, I am a true classic, adorable Beagle who will fill your life with so many laughs with my Beagle antics, constant companionship and above all, LOVE!! Let's start with how I ended up with this great rescue! I was found wandering with my sister, and taken in by a Good Samaritan. While they couldn't find our owners and were not able to keep us, the shelter was our next step. I'm not going to lie, it was loud, scary and so big, but we made it thru and were lovingly cared for by the staff. I got my vaccines, spayed and a micro chip! My Foster Mom saw me as it was love at first sight! While I miss my sister, I am doing well in my temporary home, loving to be able to play with the other dogs who are waiting for adoption too! I am still a baby, at 6 months old(as of June 1st), I currently weigh 17 pounds of puppy energy, and I have started my monthly heart worm prevention! Mom says that I am so cute when I run, as my ears just flop in the wind!! I am learning what to do when I have the leash on me, as that is all new to me. I am great with other dogs, but cats and children are unknown. My crate is clean and dry and house manners appear pretty good too! I will need a FENCED YARD though, since I am a Beagle after all! Speaking of being a Beagle, I really haven't found my "voice" just yet!"
