Meet Copper!! Copper is a gentle old soul with the sweetest eyes and a heart full of quiet love. We believe he may be a Beagle and Lab mix, but whatever his breed mix may be, it resulted in one incredibly kind and easygoing companion.

At approximately 89 years old, Copper carries himself like a true southern gentleman. He may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he feels safe, he blossoms into the most loving, affectionate boy who simply wants companionship, comfort, and a soft place to rest.

Coppers favorite things in life are simple and beautiful, soaking up sunshine, stretching out for peaceful naps, and being near his people. He has a calm, grounding presence that brings a sense of warmth and ease to any home he's in.

He is low-key, well-mannered, and happiest just being close to someone he trusts, whether that means lounging nearby, enjoying gentle affection, or quietly sharing space.

Copper is currently heartworm positive, and his treatment will be fully covered. Heartworms are not contagious, and he is expected to do well with care. More than anything, Copper deserves a family who can see past his diagnosis and recognize the deeply loving soul waiting underneath.
