DESCRIPTION
Meet Riley!
Riley is a sweet senior Beagle who recently found herself at the shelter when her previous owner was moving and could not bring her with. It’s a tough change for an older dog, but Riley is handling it the best she can and just needs a quiet place to call home again.
She’s a pretty low-key girl - described as being lazy, shy, and well-behaved. Riley enjoys a calm environment where she can relax and feel comfortable. And true to her hound roots, she can be a little vocal at times. Riley does have some typical senior health needs, so she’s looking for a family who understands that and is able to keep up with her care. She’s open to meeting other pets and kids, especially if they’re respectful of her space and slower pace.
If you're interested in meeting Riley, she is located at the Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center on Bloom Rd. We are open daily from 12:00-6:00pm and no appointment is needed. Please bring everyone who lives in your home and any current dogs with proof of up to date vaccinations. If you have any questions about her, feel free to call the shelter at 570-275-0340 or email danville@pspca.org.
