**Meet Chance – The Life of the Party**

Chance is a 1-year-old Beagle mix who weighs 29 pounds and is always ready for whatever adventure comes next. This outgoing, happy-go-lucky boy loves being part of the action, whether that's going for a walk, playing fetch, chewing on a bone, running around the yard, or curling up for cuddles afterward.

Chance is house-trained and does well in a crate, though he'll voice his opinion about it for a few minutes before settling down. He gets along well with other dogs and would likely love a playful canine companion. Just don't expect plush toys to last long—Chance considers them a personal challenge and can turn them into fluff in record time.

This smart boy already knows "sit" and "down" and is working on "come," "place," and "stay." His foster family describes him as incredibly intelligent and a very quick learner. They also report that he has a bit of a dramatic flair and loves to pull up a chair at the kitchen table so he can be part of family conversations.

Chance has done wonderfully with everyone he's met, including an 18-month-old child who fed and petted him. He even attended a T-ball game and was a perfect guest.

His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
