SAAP Nation, it’s National Beagle Day today!!
So, what better time to introduce you to my newest beagle foster than today??
Introducing, Norma Jean!!
Norma Jean is the SWEETEST, petite, senior beagle girl! She somehow found herself in the shelter, and you guys know me- I couldn’t leave her there!!!
She’s approximately 10 years young, with a huge zest for life! I’ve never seen a dog love sniffing the backyard and smelling all the smells as much as Norma Jean! Her tail never stops wagging a mile a minute!
She’s only 25lbs, 95% potty trained, wonderful in a crate, and absolutely LOVES every human and dog she’s ever met!
Our vets did find on intake that she has a heart defect that she was probably born with. So now that it’s been detected, she does take a couple heart medicines that you can easily get off of Chewy or at your vet. Our vet recommends another heart sonogram be done in 6 months, but her life expectancy is not shortened at all because of this!
Norma Jean is about as happy of a pup that you will ever meet! She does sing the song of her people when outside, so apartment and condo living is probably not recommended!
Norma Jean is now fully vetted. She’s just had a dental and a spay. She’s microchipped and vaccinated. Her ears and skin are cleaned. She’s ready! She’s really ready to be adopted and meet her forever family! Is that you???
Apply to adopt Norma Jean at adoptastray.com and bring this adorable, deserving, lovable girl home with you this weekend!!Op
