DESCRIPTION
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Beasley has come a long way in the almost six months he has been with SEBR, and he is now ready for the right family to fall in love with him. He is undoubtedly STINKING CUTE and he's a great cuddler in bed. His housetraining is now on target and he goes potty outside, just open the door and say with a happy voice, 'wanta go out?' Beasley does enjoy walks and stays by your side, but he can get spooked easily so safety is important and a securely fenced yard is necessary. He is pretty low key and likes to chill out on his dog bed up on the sofa. When Beasley first arrived he was very fearful of people, but he is after all a beagle ...so he is now very good at coming for treats and eats out of your hand. He loves bones, antlers and chew toys. He is learning to play with the other beagle... mostly he puts his butt in the air and jumps around. He does great with other dogs and cats and is okay with children, but he does prefers a quiet place. Beasley would do best with a family at home most of the time. His foster mom doesn't crate him when the family goes out, but she does have him wear a belly band -- a male dog diaper that just wraps around his belly. She only uses them when they leave him at home alone and he is good about wearing it. Beasley and Bourbon came to us together from a very rural area of Kentucky and, although locals fed them, they were very unsocialized. To help him with his adjustment we did start him in January on anxiety medication. We do believe it has helped, but alsothink he could be weaned off of it once he's settled in the right home. Beasley's rescue is not complete until someone's heart leads them to provide him a forever home with love and security. Will you be a rescuer with us for Beasley?
