DESCRIPTION
Meet Ruby! Ruby is new here at WCHS so we cannot confidently assess her personality just yet, but so far she has been a giant cuddlebug! She always wants to be in your lap and if she had a choice, she would fuse into your skin (with your permission, of course.) Ruby is a bit more shy than her brother, Bruno, but with some quality time, she will feel confident to let out her bark!
Some of Ruby's Favorite Things Include: Climbing ontop of you, speaking her mind, soft toys, treats
Kids: We are unsure how Ruby interacts with children. We always recommend going over proper animal handling with kids before introductions.
Dogs: Ruby arrived with her younger brother, Bruno. While she does well with him, we are unsure how well she does with other dogs. We recommend caution & supervision during introductions for the best chance of success.
Cats: We do not know how Ruby does with feline friends. We advise patience and supervision during introductions for the best chance of success.
NOTE: Ruby has had dental extractions in the past and may be picky with hard treats and kibble. Soft food/treats are prefered!
Ruby is spayed, microchipped, & fully up-to-date on vaccines & preventions
ABOUT: BEAGLE DOG BREED
The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs. Their short coat is easy to maintain, and they are adaptable to various living environments, making them popular companions for families and individuals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
