DESCRIPTION
Meet Ivy! Ivy came to Priceless Pets on a recent Hound Haul from Texas and Oklahoma and is now ready to find a family of her own.
At 9 pounds, Ivy may be little, but she has a big personality! This confident girl knows exactly what she wants and isn't afraid to share her opinions. Ivy gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. She can be a little food-focused, so she does best when meals are served separately.
Ivy is smart, has great recall, and is almost fully potty trained. She's also doing wonderfully with her routine of three meals a day, bedtime around 9-10 p.m., and sleeping comfortably in her crate until 6-7 a.m.
With her adorable diva attitude, playful spirit, and endless charm, Ivy is guaranteed to keep her future family entertained and loved.
ABOUT: BASSET HOUND DOG BREED
The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
