DESCRIPTION
Meet Daffodil! Daffodil came to Priceless Pets on a recent Hound Haul from Texas and Oklahoma and is now ready to find a family of her own.
If personality could wag its tail, it would be Daffodil! This happy, affectionate girl is always excited to see her people and is usually the first one to run over and say hello. She loves attention, loves being part of the action, and has never met a stranger.
Daffodil is smart, eager to please, and will be a lot of fun to train. She has great energy and would thrive with a family that can provide structure, playtime, and adventures. She absolutely adores the three dogs in her foster home, especially her two-year-old Beagle best friend.
She's doing great with her puppy training and has been sleeping through the night, making excellent progress with both crate training and potty training.
With her loving personality, happy spirit, and endless enthusiasm, Daffodil is ready to brighten every day of her future family's life.
ABOUT: BASSET HOUND DOG BREED
The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
