Star is a beautiful Basenji mix (around 40 pounds) with a radiant personality to match her name. This sweet girl is truly a ray of sunshine, full of love, warmth, and affection.
Star is incredibly gentle and affectionate. She loves giving hugs, offers the softest kisses, and takes treats very gently. Her eyes are absolutely captivating, you can truly see the love she has to give just by looking at her.
She is dog friendly, crate trained, and has great manners. Star goes potty quickly, has a fast recall, and enjoys being close to her people. She has a nice, balanced energy level, happy to play and engage, but just as content cuddling up and relaxing by your side.
Star would make a wonderful addition to a family and would do great in a home with children. She thrives on connection and simply loves being in the company of her humans.
Star was saved from a euthanasia list in Houston, Texas, and is now safe in foster care while waiting for the forever home she deserves.
She is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention. She is available for out-of-state transport to the right adopter.
