Noelle is fostered in Milwaukee, WI.

Noelle is a playful, energetic female Australian Shepherd. She is a gorgeous split-faced red merle female, who is 2.5 year old, currently weighing approximately 30 lbs. Her absolutely favorite thing to do is play fetch with a ball and she could play for hours.

When other people or pets enter her home, she can be a bit vocal, but is overall very excited to meet new people. Noelle was previously in a home with cats and gets along with them well. She may chase them but knows when they need their space. In her foster home, she plays well with the resident dog but she prefers the company of her dogs or smaller. She may view her toys as her own, so her foster home is working on her skills of sharing.

Noelle is very good in the car and LOVES to go anywhere with you. She's a very good listener and is attentive when giving her commands. She is super smart and would do best with someone who is active and willing to continue to work on her training. Noelle can sometimes use her mouth for playing but is very responsive to “no bite” and “no teeth”.

Noelle has not previously had much leash training, so this is an area of continued training. She needs and adopter who is willing to continue working with her leash walking skills and also seeing and meeting other dogs on leash. We recommend her adopter be committed to some training in this area along with a basic obedience class. Noelle already knows several commands: sit, lay down and find ball. She loves to play tug and will bring you a toy when she want to play. Noelle would cuddle up with you all night, if allowed, but also will sleep like an angel in her crate. Noelle will sees you getting ready to leave or when you say “bedtime” and will go to her crate at that time. This sweet girl is ready to meet you and give you tons of kisses!

Noelle is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations and receiving monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworms. She does require a committed adopter who is willing to devote 1 - 2 hours of mental and physical stimulation per day.
