Luuna is an 8-month-old, 37-pound Aussie mix with a beautiful merle coat, a fluffy tail, and a bright, joyful spirit. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience, her sweet personality shines through. Before long, she is leaning in for affection, asking to play, and happily becoming part of the moment.

Fetch is Luuna’s favorite thing in the world. She loves playing ball, enjoys squeaky toys, and thrives on high-energy play with other dogs. She would be especially happy in a home with another playful pup to be her companion and help her burn off some of that happy puppy energy, or in a home that understands her need to socialize with other dogs.

Luuna is a smart, eager girl who responds well to correction and learns quickly. She is house trained, walks nicely on a leash, sits politely for treats, and is already picking up more skills along the way. Like any young dog, she is still learning how to balance her curiosity and enthusiasm with good indoor manners, and she is making great progress.

She prefers being loose in the house rather than crated, and more than anything, Luuna wants to be close to her people. She is the kind of dog who wants to be included in everyday life, whether that means joining in on an adventure, playing in the yard, or curling up nearby at the end of the day.
