__________
Willow is a 3-year-old Aussie/Lab mix who is looking for a new home through Mutt Life Dog
Rescue. Her family loves her very much, but due to busy schedules, they feel she deserves a
home with more time to give her the attention, companionship, and outdoor time she thrives on.
Meet Willow
Willow originally came from a southern state with another rescue and was adopted by her
current owner when she was only a couple months old. Since then, she has been raised with
structure, consistency, training, and lots of love.
Willow has a gentle, affectionate, and easygoing personality. She enjoys being around people
and has done wonderfully with children and other dogs. She recently boarded with her
professional trainer and did great with a pack of 10 dogs. She is not tested with cats.
Willow has worked with a professional trainer and has learned to walk nicely on a leash. She is
crate trained, potty trained, and has excellent house manners. Willow has no food guarding
behaviors and politely waits for permission before eating. She currently enjoys off-leash time in
her yard using a perimeter collar and absolutely loves spending time outdoors.
She is a wonderfully balanced dog who enjoys adventures and playtime but also settles nicely in
the home and loves relaxing with her people. She would be a great fit for any home including a
family with kids, a couple, or single person looking for a buddy.

2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.
3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit.
4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.
5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.
6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $125 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old.
