Australian Kelpie Dogs Available for Adoption in Ashland, Ohio

Say hello to NEO!

NEO and his Momma are famous and have won the hearts of our Ashland community (see video). NEO was born on March 27, 2026 to COPPER (also listed on Petfinder). We think Momma is an Australian Kelpie and she weights 35 pounds. It's hard to say what the puppies are mixed with, as mom was on the run for many months meeting all the local boys in town.

NEO is all things puppy! He is adorable, clumsy, funny, no sense of personal space, playful, energetic, nosy, attention seeking and a bundle of joy! Is there anything better than puppy breath?!?

Adoption fee is $350

All Ashland County Humane Society animals' adoption fees include:

~spay/neuter
~micro-chip
~de-worming
~vaccinations, including rabies
~heartworm prevention

We are an all volunteer-based organization that does not have a building or a staff, only 8 members with jobs and families, trying to make a difference. We do not have the volunteer manpower to show animals to non-approved applicants. If your application gets screened and approved, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and you can decide if this is the right pet for you.
