Meet Rip Wheeler!

Rip Wheeler is a resilient and affectionate Blue Heeler tripod with striking brown eyes, one adorable floppy ear, freckled feet, and a wagging nub tail. Despite missing a leg, he is full of energy and loves to play—fetch is his absolute favorite! He thrives on engagement, always eager to interact with his people, and will happily bark to get your attention.

Rip is very loving and adores everyone he meets—people, kids, dogs, and even cats. He has been around young children (1–2 years old) and does wonderfully with them. He enjoys enrichment chews, lick mats, and anything that lets him sniff or use his mind. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical activity for this smart, spirited boy.

He is potty trained, and a big backyard would be ideal for him to run and explore.

Rip Wheeler is a loving, energetic dog looking for a family who will keep him engaged and let his playful personality shine. He is currently being fostered in a home in New Braunfels, TX and is ready to find his forever home! Because of his crate anxiety, he cannot be transported out of state.
