OSSIN
Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler
🇺🇸
Paso Robles, California
April 23rd
male, medium, young
DESCRIPTION
Cattle Dog mix, male puppyWelcome Ossin from Tulare County Animal Services. He was terrified and shut down in the shelter. Now he’s safe with a CCHDR and all-star foster. Ossin’s very much decompressing but we hope to see some light and soul behind those eyes once he realizes he’s safe.
Ossin (pron. Oh Sheen) is Gaeilge for little deer. And tiny he is. Ossin was thought to be 9 months old, we think it's closer to 6 months, and 25lbs. He is microchipped, neutered, and UTD on vaccines.
If you have room in your home and heart for this shy and gentle soul, we have no doubt he’ll flourish with time and patience. Stay tuned as we watch him decompress and learn to trust - or get an application in and show this boy what he’s been missing for the last 9 months.
Ossin is in San Francisco, CA

The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression.
