Heidi is a sweet 2-year-old Texas Heeler weighing in at about 45 pounds, and she’s ready to start her next chapter—finding a loving forever home. After coming to us as a stray, Heidi is slowly discovering what it means to feel safe, cared for, and loved.

This gentle girl is still learning the ropes, especially when it comes to walking on a leash. It’s likely she’s never had that experience before, so new things can feel a little scary at first. But with a slow pace, kind words, and a reassuring presence, Heidi really starts to shine. She just needs someone patient and understanding who will help build her confidence and show her the world isn’t so scary after all.

Heidi has so much love to give and will make a wonderful companion for someone willing to give her the time and encouragement she needs. Watching her grow and come out of her shell will be such a rewarding experience.
