Cookie has had a very "heavy" life, physically and mentally.

Unfortunately, Cookie was in a home with severe domestic violence. She has seen a lot, and food was her comfort.

"Out of love" her previous diet consisted of high-fat beef everyday, bringing her weight to a whopping 89 lbs.

We have put her on a weight management dog food, and she has lost 6 lbs so far!

She is almost 7 yo, has had operations on both hips due to her weight, and will need a dedicated family on her side!

We love Cookie so much, and hope we can find the perfect match to pamper her, like she deserves!!!

She does great with other pups and cats, but doesn't like to be pounced on or pushed around.

-Adoption fee $50 (all pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and socialized)

-Travel to Athens, AL to meet your potential new family member
