Lola's Story:
She didn't have a name.
No collar. No history. No one looking for her.
Just a quiet presence... waiting.
Until her time ran out.
Lola was pulled from a euthanasia list-another invisible life about to be lost.
And even then... her fight wasn't over.
Her eyes were in constant pain.
Every blink hurt. Every moment uncomfortable.
A condition that could have taken her sight completely.
But Lola never gave up.
Two eyes saved. One incredibly brave soul.
On March 4th Mt Pleasant Animal Clinic performed a successful surgery on both Lola's eyes.
Today, she has been recovering beautifully-and she is doing amazing.
No more cone. No more ice packs. No more daily discomfort.
Still trusting. Still loving.
And now... finally, a little happier.
Because that's who she is.
Gentle.
Affectionate.
Good with dogs, cats... and kind hearts.
Low energy, soft presence... the kind of dog who just wants to be near you.
Have you ever seen a dog who's been through so much...
and yet still chooses love?
That's Lola.
She doesn't ask for much.
Just comfort. Safety. Someone to finally stay.
She survived being forgotten.
She endured pain in silence.
She trusted again... after everything.
Now she's ready.
Ready for a home.
Ready for a family.
Ready to be loved the way she always deserved.
Please don't let her be overlooked again.
Donate to support her recovery or apply to foster/adopt.
Because dogs like Lola don't just need rescue...
They need someone who sees them.
