You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I’m Roo
I’m an American Staffordshire Terrier, and if you’re looking for a fun-loving, smart, all-around awesome dog... I just might be your perfect match.
My mornings start off pretty great—I wake up, head outside to enjoy the yard, and then it’s breakfast time (one of my favorite parts of the day). After that, I love going for a walk. I’m doing really well with taking care of my business outside like a good boy!
Playtime? That’s my specialty. I love romping around with toys—but honestly, I can turn just about anything into a toy if I put my mind to it. I also really love my people and get along great with the other dogs in my foster home. Making friends is kind of my thing.
After I’ve gotten my energy out, I like to settle down with an antler to chew on, followed by a nice long nap. Being a happy puppy is hard work, after all! At night, I’m a champ in my crate and sleep a full 8 hours to recharge.
I’m about 9 months old and weigh around 32 pounds right now. My foster family says I’ll probably be between 35–45 pounds when I’m all grown up—just the perfect size for adventures and couch snuggles.
So... what do you think? Do you have room on your couch—and in your heart—for a sweet guy like me? Apply today @Buffalocares.org

ABOUT: AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER DOG BREED
The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.
