Dashing. Masculine. Independant. Playful and starting to get snuggly!! Our most handsome fella BISHOP arrived as a very upset stray. "Why am I here?" "Where is my person?" "What did I do wrong?" Time and patience works wonders on our pets and now, we are able to see the tip of the iceberg on what Bishop can offer us. His tail is up high and proud and he's smiling! Although he's not a big dog at 60lbs per say, still he has a big feel and aura about him. He is good on the leash, he loves running around exploring our play yard area and for his regular volunteer walkers, he's giving out some random kisses. Bishop might be just another solid black dog, but there's so much more character and depth to Bishop and he's slowly sharing it with us. We can't wait to see all of his pet layers but he might also say, "I'm ready to show them to my new person now," so come on by and give him a try, won't you?
ABOUT: AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER DOG BREED
The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
