Sonny Chance has fought hard for a second chance. Now all he needs is a family to give him the happy ending he's waited so long for.
This sweet boy was confiscated from an unimaginable situation after enduring severe neglect & despite everything he's been through, he continues to show the world nothing but kindness.
Introducing Sonny Chance--
At intake, he weighed only 31 pounds and had a body condition score of 3/9, clearly showing the effects of long-term malnourishment. Yet the shelter staff described him as calm, friendly, cooperative & easy to handle. Even while starving, Sonny greeted everyone with a loose, wiggly body and gentle manners.
Today, He is thriving and has been doing amazing in his foster home. He is a sweet, affectionate boy who crates well, walks nicely on leash, is dog friendly, and is very food motivated.
This is the kind of dog who makes you believe in resilience. He survived cruelty and neglect, but he never lost his loving spirit.
Now healthy and happy, he is ready to find the loving family he has always deserved.
