Nova is a sunshine-in-fur form – a bouncy, 10-month-old American Staffordshire Terrier who was rescued by Animal Control along with her siblings from a backyard breeder. After surviving the tough early days no puppy should ever have to endure, this little family finally made it to the safety of the shelter.

If you’ve ever met a puppy who loves so hard it looks like she might explode with happiness, that’s Nova. The second she sees you, her entire body turns into one giant wiggle. Her tail goes a mile a minute, her chunky puppy butt swings side to side, and she practically vibrates with pure joy.
