Humphrey, Roly Poly Goofball - American Bully and Bulldog Dog for Adoption in Meriden, Connecticut

Meet our goofy and roly poly guy named Humphrey! Humphrey is about 2 years old and he came to us after he was found roaming alone in town. He is a very friendly dog who loves to get attention from everyone! Humphrey is a very short and stocky boy, but he is strong and can still get jumpy when he is excited. Due to his Bulldog type breathing, he is not a huge fan of the hot weather and it slows him down. He will not be able to be left outside alone for very long during these hot summer days. Humphrey loves cookies and he will trot around beside us while doing laps in our backyard. He is a happy guy and now he is looking for his forever family! Humphrey seems fine with other dogs and he tested non reactive in our cat room. He can go to a home with children 12 years old and older.

You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.

An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
