American Bully Dogs Available for Adoption in Martinsville, Virginia

Tank originally came to us as a stray after being picked up roaming the neighborhood. Though he was reclaimed then, he was later surrendered to our shelter. Life wasn’t always easy for this guy, and he spent a lot of his early months living on a tether with limited consistency and stability. Despite that, Tank has remained incredibly loving with people and is ready to finally experience what being part of a family is supposed to feel like.

Because of that, he sometimes likes to put on a tough-guy act. In reality? Total softie. This is the same dog that whined like a baby after neuter surgery and just wants attention from his people. He absolutely loves humans and has done well with an older child in foster home.

Tank is dog selective and will require a meet and greet with any potential canine siblings. He’s a strong, muscular boy who doesn’t always realize his own size, but underneath all that muscle is a goofy, affectionate dog that wants someone in his corner for good this time.
