Squeaky toys? Too exciting. Plush toys? Destined for destruction. Tennis balls? His greatest love language.

If there were an Olympic event for toy enthusiasm, Gilbert would bring home the gold medal.

This handsome young guy is full of energy and keeps himself entertained with his ever growing obsession with toys. While he's perfectly capable of turning a toy into confetti all by himself, another playful polished dog may help him burn off some of that youthful energy and give him a buddy for wrestling and zoomies.

Because Gilbert can get a little over the top excited when toys are involved we're recommending a home with older children who can appreciate his enthusiastic approach to playtime. And trust us on this one-no squeaky toys. Gilbert hears a squeak and suddenly it's the most important mission of his entire day.

Gilbert is sweet, goofy and very independent dog. He may not snuggle you all night but his goof will bring laughs. His zest for life is contagious, and his future family will never wonder where the missing toys went.
