As a young dog, Goof is still working on his manners. He can be a little mouthy and jumpy when hes excited, so he would do best with older or dog-savvy children while he continues learning. He is eager to please and has already started learning basic hand signals and commands.

Goof enjoys the company of other dogs and seems to do especially well with larger canine companions. He is currently learning how to interact appropriately with smaller dogs and continues to make progress. He is also living successfully with a dog-savvy cat, though he may be inclined to chase a cat that runs.

This handsome boy is making great strides with house training and sleeps wonderfully through the night. Because Goof is deaf, training can take a little extra patience and creativity, but he is a smart dog who is eager to learn and connect with his people.

Goof can be a bit unsure in new situations, so continued confidence-building through walks, adventures, and positive experiences will help him continue to thrive. With guidance and encouragement, he blossoms more every day.
