Dog Shelter And Rescue
Description
Our goal is that EVERY animal, turned in or picked up (that's not reclaimed by it's owner), into a new and good home or Rescue. Our director and our group work very closely to see that all the animals make it out alive! There have been many times, the count at the shelter has been down to only 1 or 2! It has even been ZERO recently! Putting an animal down will be our new Warden's very last choice. With AC and our group (WCPFP) working closely on this, there will hopefully never be a reason again to have to euthanize because of lack of space.
Policies
We do our very best to match pets with their forever family. Interested adopters are welcomed into our facility to meet the animals. One on one meetings are held in a safe, comfortable environment for the animals. Prior to adopting any pets out, we do require a meeting between current pets and the potential adoptee. Paperwork can be completed inside. Upon signature of paperwork, Nashville Animal Clinic is contacted to set an appointment for the new pet. They are then transferred for the following care as needed: Spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccine updates. After the adopter has paid for the performed medical care, they may take their new family member home.
