DESCRIPTION
Wolfgang came to us with his 4 siblings.
WOLFGANG HAS TESTED + FOR FIV. This virus is spread to other cats through bites. Casual, non-aggressive contact and sharing of bowls and grooming each other does not seem to spread the virus. FIV+ cats/kittens can live in homes with other cats/kittens as long as the cats has a positive social structure and do not fight.
The virus will not normally pass from mother to kittens but kittens may test + due to mother's antibodies. It is highly recommended to have Gunther retested with his adopter's veterinarian in 6 months. He will likely test negative.
If interested in visiting Wolfgang, please stop by Saturday, May 30th from 1pm to 5pm.
