This sweet little floof is Hala, a four year old Persian who traveled all the way from Egypt to get here! Now that she has settled in to life in the states, she is ready to find her perfect home!
Hala had a rough start - she was found on the streets of Egypt missing an eye, underweight, and with a thin coat. Luckily, a rescuer scooped her up and got her on the road to recovery. While still a little lady, Hala has filled out, and her coat is full, like a cotton ball! Her eye is still missing, of course, and she has a little snaggle tooth, but it just gives her more character!
Hala is a very sweet girl. She loves attention from her humans, and she loves to play. She loves a wand toy, her tunnel, and catnip kickers. She will come sit on your lap for lots of loving when she is done playing, and she will accept all the pets and chin scratches! When she is tired out, she loves to nap in her cat tree or on a comfy blanket.
Hala loves people and we believe she would do fine in a home with larger dogs. She does not do well with cats, and she would need to be the only cat in the household.
Hala is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on her vaccines.
Hala's adoption fee is $500 as it is quite costly to fly cats in from other countries. She had been at the shelter in Egypt for three years, so we wanted to give her the opportunity to find her home here!
