DESCRIPTION

WINIFRED aka WINNIE is a darling TORBIE DOLL FACE PERSIAN with lovely copper eyes. She is 1 ½ years old, spayed, has her claws, is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and microchipped. She weighs 7.6 lbs.

Winnie was surrendered to SPCR after her owner couldn’t take care of her any longer. Foster mom promised to find her a caring and wonderful home where someone will appreciate not just her pretty looks, but also her sweet purrsonality.

While initially shy, Winnie has quickly turned into a loving, trusting, easy going, and very well behaved little lady. As soon as her foster mom enters the foster area, Winnie comes running to her chirping and eliciting some attention. She often puts her precious little doll face close to her foster mom’s face for a nose to nose greeting. She enjoys being around people, sitting next to them, and she loves being brushed. She gets somewhat excited when her foster mom interacts with her by swishing a wand toy around, and she becomes almost kitten-like when she bats around some balls or a catnip mouse, although we wouldn’t really consider her that much of a play monster. For the most part, she is content just lounging around.

While she was a single kitty in her previous home and her foster mom has not tried to introduce Winnie to her own kitties, Winnie seems to be interested in other cats and might be okay with a similar calm breed with proper and slow introductions. However, we would not recommend a home with multiple kitties for her. She would also be just fine as a single kitty where she can soak up the undivided love and attention from her human(s).

Her foster home doesn’t have dogs, but could envision that she might be okay with a very calm, cat loving dog. A young, barking and energetic dog would not work for her. Small children might scare her, but older, cat savvy children should be fine for her.

Her coat doesn’t seem to be too prone to matting, but a daily brushing is recommended and appreciated by her. Her eyes don’t seem to be prone to weeping. Winnie requests that her new abode provides her with two litter boxes that are cleaned on a daily basis.

She enjoys both wet and dry food.

ADOPTION FEE $350. FOSTERED IN MEQUON, WI.

ABOUT: PERSIAN CAT BREED

The Persian cat is a beloved breed known for its luxurious, long fur, flat face, and gentle temperament. Originating from Persia, now Iran, Persians are characterized by their round faces, short noses, and large, expressive eyes. These affectionate and calm cats make wonderful indoor companions, thriving in a peaceful and quiet environment. Persians require regular grooming to maintain their stunning coat and are prone to some health issues due to their flat facial structure.
