Hansel - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Woodstock, Virginia

Hi, I'm Hansel, a calm, friendly demure lady who's babies are leaving the nest, so I'm finally freed from having any more kids and ready to be your companion! I'm already litter box trained (both using pellet litter and clay litter), so there's zero stress in bringing me home.

I grew up outside on a property where a cat colony was forming, but I was fed and petted and got a lot of attention so I've always been a friendly kitty and was never feral. I'm not a clingy cat and I'm happy to relax in a window and sunbathe while I watch all of the birds and goings on outside. But I also really like chin scratches and when it's time for wet food I greet my human with some enthusiastic meows (I'm pretty quiet otherwise)!

I'm a pretty docile kitty so while I would do ok around other kitties that are friendly or would leave me alone, I don't like being around bullies. My sister (Gretel) is the more dominant between the 2 of us and I'm a bit more of a submissive personality type and would prefer to not be in a home with a more dominant kitty and would love a calm home. She definitely likes to hog the attention, but that's ok, I just let her do her thing and then when the humans come to give me some pets and treats I very happily accept!!

My adoption fee is $250, and that comes with the following being done:
