This cutie patootie is the wonderful, Luna. This darling girl was brought to us through no fault of her own, but only after her previous owner could no longer care for her due to an allergic family member. Sweet Luna has an estimated birthdate of 1/11/25, so she's just one year old. Luna is an absolute sweetheart and she has already stolen the hearts of the staff and volunteers. She is so much fun, and has a wonderful, outgoing and funny personality. She loves pets, couch cuddling sessions, doesn't mind being up and is just an all around wonderful young lady! She is a social butterfly, has never met a stranger, and is always on the prowl for love and affection. And as cute as she is, how could we possibly resist her!? Luna is very playful and loves to play with wand toys, catnip toys and anything with feathers. She really is a total doll and there is no doubt that her new person or family will fall head over heels in love with her. When Luna came to us, we discovered that she had a urinary tract infection. We found that the crystals in her urine make her more susceptible to recurrent infections, so she now eats urinary tract health canned and dry food. It will be necessary for her to remain on this type of food in order to keep her healthy and happy for years to come. The food isn't any more than most other types of mid-grade food, so it's not really an added expense. Of course, a higher quality food would be even better for this sweetheart. She would also greatly benefit from having a kitty water fountain in her forever home. Kitties tend to love drinking from fountains (stainless steel recommended) and it helps to keep that very important moisture content high in their diets. That is especially important in kitties that have had crystals in their urine before. Please don't let this scare you at all, as it's really a quite common thing in cats, and this darling is more than worth it! Luna has met other kitties since coming to the shelter, and so far she is interested in them, so she may do well in a home with other kitties. She hasn't met any dogs since coming to the shelter, but we suspect that she would likely be fine with a gentle, cat-friendly dog. She would be a wonderful companion for a child as she is such a sweet and fun-seeking gal. Would you like to meet the fabulous Luna?
