Selah’s dramatic classic tabby swirls make her look like a tiny work of art — but this beautiful girl’s story has had more bumps than a kitten should ever know. Found hiding in a car engine during the dead of winter, Selah survived a scary start to life, only to later experience an adoption that left her unsure about trusting people again.

Because of that, Selah needs a calm, patient home without young children, where she can settle in at her own pace and learn that people can be kind and dependable. Quick movements can still make her nervous, but underneath that skittishness is a playful, loving kitten waiting for the right person to believe in her. And once you earn her trust? That bond is something truly special.

Selah is full of energy and absolutely must have a feline friend — or two! — who will chase, wrestle, and zoom around the house with her. She adores toys of all kinds, especially feather wand toys and little mice with a soft rattle inside. Wet food and Churu treats are also an excellent way to win her heart.

Selah isn’t looking for a perfect home. She’s looking for a patient one. In return, you’ll get the joy of watching a cautious kitten blossom into a confident, happy companion.
