Sumac is a petite, beautiful black cat, about 1.5 years old, and she is everything you could want in a feline companion. When we first laid eyes on Sumac, they couldn't quite comprehend how so much adorableness could be contained in a small, 7 pound frame.

At her age, she has plenty of playful energy and loves engaging with all kinds of toys. She thrives with enrichment and will enthusiastically make the most of whatever you offer her. When playtime winds down, she's equally happy to curl up on your lap or settle in by a sunny window for a long afternoon nap.

Sumac is naturally curious and alert. She takes a genuine interest in her surroundings and will want to investigate anything new that comes into the home, which makes her a delightful and engaged little presence to have around.

She is fully litter trained and has shown she adapts well to new people. When a pet sitter visited recently, Sumac warmed up to them quickly and easily which is a real sign of her friendly, confident temperament.

Sumac never tires of affection and will often flop down by your feet to bring that same warmth and energy to yours.
