Meet the Cheese Kittens — a sweet little group of survivors named after everyone’s favorite cheeses!

Girls: Brie, Gouda & Chedder
Boys: Colby, Jack & Goat

These babies have already overcome more than most kittens ever should. After a building fire, they were found tucked together in a pile of ashes, where their brave mama had hidden them to keep them safe. At only about two weeks old, they went into the care of a dedicated bottle feeder and have been raised with endless love, attention, and care ever since.

Despite their heartbreaking beginning, these kittens are incredibly happy, healthy, playful, and affectionate. They love people, enjoy cuddles, and spend their days chasing toys, wrestling with each other, and discovering the world around them. Because they have grown up so closely bonded, we would love to see them adopted in pairs unless there is already another young, playful cat in the home for them to bond with.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.

NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.

If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.

We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21.
