Don't let this adorably grumpy look stop you from meeting this beautiful calico girl!

Cali had lived outside her whole life in a colony. Her siblings were trapped as younger kittens and socialized and adopted out. Unfortunately, she was not discovered until the dead of winter and as an older kitten at that point. She showed some promise and it was very bitter cold so she was kept inside. With intensive work, she has decided that people are OK.

Cali was initially hissing and untouchable. She now seeks out attention. She loves to be petted and will roll on the floor for more. She loves attention and wants to be with people, frequently giving little kisses on your hands and gentle love bites. She absolutely loves other cats and will need a buddy.

Cali does not like to be picked up. She will not allow it at this point. She is frightened by sudden movements, but once she has sniffed your hand, she welcomes pets and scratches. She will weave between your feet.

Cali will do best in a home with experienced cat owners, who are willing to give her time and space to adjust.
