Meet Baby- A 2-year-old sweet and affectionate girl who truly enjoys attention-but like many cats, she can become overstimulated if petting or interaction goes on too long. This isn't aggression; it's her way of setting boundaries when she's had enough. She gives clear warning signs before reaching that point, such as her tail starting to flick, ears turning slightly back, skin rippling along her back, or becoming suddenly more alert. When those signals are respected and interaction pauses, she settles right back into her calm, gentle self.
Baby does best with people who understand cat body language and are comfortable letting her take the lead with affection. Short, positive interactions work better for her than long handling sessions, and she appreciates having her own space to retreat to when she needs a break.
She was previously an indoor/outdoor cat, so she may still have some curiosity about the outdoors. With patience and understanding, she would do well in a home that respects her signals and gives her the freedom to relax on her own terms.
