Hi ~ I'm Augie, and right now I'm living in a foster home with my sister Ivy. Our foster mom is helping us learn about being kittens, and some of it is really hard! Like the part about not being shy around people. I love being pet (even on my tummy!), I love sitting near my foster mom, and I even love sometimes choosing her lap to nap in. But what I don't love so much is being reached for or scooped up. Having big human hands move quickly toward me makes me feel like I'm about to board a flight I didn't book! And Ivy is the same way. She's soft, sweet, and very devoted ~ but if you pet her face, she assumes you're initiating a tiny boxing match with her mouth, and she'll give you a little play bite like, "Game on!" It's not mean. It's just ~ Ivy logic!

We're looking for pawrents who understand that we are a bit of a "soft launch" pair. We are not "carry me around like a baby" kittens, nor are we the "cannonball-into-your-lap" kind of kittens. We need a home that understands that trust takes time. A home that doesn't need to scoop, squeeze, or parade us around ~ at least for now. So, if you're the kind of person who appreciates sweet squeaky meows, soft purrs, and the honor of being chosen, Ivy and I would very much like to interview you for the position of our Forever Person.
