Martha Mae’s story could have ended very differently. She was found being attacked by neighborhood stray cats on a family’s front lawn. When they rushed to help, they quickly realized she couldn’t properly defend herself because she had been front declawed. Wanting to give her a chance at a safer life, they brought her to rescue where she could finally find the loving home she deserves.

This beautiful brown tabby girl is as sweet as she is stunning. Martha Mae enjoys the simple things in life—long brushing sessions, cozy naps, and spending hours watching “Bird TV” from the safety of a sunny window. When playtime rolls around, she loves chasing cat wand toys and showing off her playful side.

Every evening, Martha Mae looks forward to her favorite bedtime ritual: a tasty Churu treat before settling in for the night.

Martha Mae would love a home where she can feel safe and cherished. While she isn’t naturally a fan of other cats, she has learned to peacefully coexist with them through slow, patient introductions. She may do best as the queen of her castle or with a calm feline companion who respects her space.
