Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Seattle, Washington

Meet Sophie, a playful, talkative, curious kitty! She is approximately 2 years old.

This velvety grey girl loves to chase after toys, curl up in a fluffy blanket, and greet you upon waking up in the morning and when you return home. Her favorite things include fish pate and crinkly wand toys. 

What Sophie’s looking for in a home:

- She is new to indoor life with humans, so she needs a kind and patient guide to help her continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers make her nervous.
- She has lots of energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- She feels at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- She needs to live indoors only.
- She has a positive history with other cats and would do best having a feline friend.
- She has no known history with dogs.
- She has no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match.
