DESCRIPTION
Meet Dahlia, the beautiful black kitty. This lively girl has a beautiful sleek coat and a very curious nature. The shelter volunteers have noted that she is very sweet and loves to play with the wand toy! Dahlia came to us as a stray, so we don’t much about her history outside of the shelter. Due to this, it is important that any potential adopters with resident furry friends do a slow and thoughtful introduction over time. Dahlia would love for you to stop by and say hello so she can impress you with her luxurious coat and playful behavior! Dahlia is available for preadoption—come meet her, fall in love, and take her home after her spay surgery! Dahlia’s adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund - a fund that draws adopter's eyes towards often overlooked black cats in the Shelter waiting for the purrfect home. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
