Meet Chachi! Chachi is a charming, resilient young man who has officially retired from his life as a stray to pursue his passion: being the absolute center of your world. At 10 months old, he is a confident, affectionate guy who appreciates a good chin scratch and is ready to greet you at the door when you come home. Having navigated the streets, he has gained a bit of independence, but he’s quickly learning that soft blankets and regular meal times are far superior to his former adventures. Chachi is looking for a loving home where he can be the king of the castle, and would do best in an environment that allows him to be the only cat. If you think this handsome guy is the missing piece to your home, come on down to the shelter and schedule a time for you to meet! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
