DESCRIPTION
Joyce is a beautiful brown tabby who is the perfect combo of sweet and sassy. Joyce's owner tragically passed away and she found herself living outside without human touch for three years. After giving birth to a litter of kittens she was humanely trapped and the whole family was brought indoors. It has taken Joyce some time to trust humans again, but she quickly remembered her love of pets and face scritches. When her foster parents first enter the foster room, she often startles and gives a big hiss, but then immediately begins chirping, purring, and even getting on her hind legs for pets. While she absolutely loves to be pet, she does get nervous about fast movements around her face and is not a fan of being held. Joyce is looking for a cat savvy person who understands and appreciates her boundaries and is willing to give her the time and patience she needs to come out of her shell.
In her foster home, Joyce has not appreciated the presence of the resident cats and would prefer to be the only pet in the home or to be adopted with one of her kittens (El and Dustin). Joyce would do best in an adult-only home or a home with older, cat-savvy children.
To be considered, please apply at feistyfelines.org/adoption-application. Adoption fees for kittens are $235/one or $425/pair, adults are $160. “Shy guys” and special cases may be discounted. Includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines up to date, dewormed, flea treated, and combo testing done on the litter.
