Van Dyke may look like he hangs out behind the diner, but he is really just a big teddy bear at heart. He is a mellow and calm boy who loves in bed next to you, getting close for endless nuzzles, and simply being your center of attention.

There is never a moment where you will feel alone with Van Dyke around, who happily greets you at the door and thinks its the best part of the day when you come home. That is, other than mealtime, which is also the best part of the day!

This laid back and gentle boy is sure to make a wonderful companion. He has met other pets and was calm and confident, and with proper introductions should do fine in the forever home he lands! This ruggedly adorable gentleman can't wait for his next adventure, and hopes it is with you!

About Ten Lives:

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.

Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!

All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
