Coal is a beloved house panther who is on the prowl for his forever home! Just over 8.5 years old, he is an older gentleman and arrived to Ten Lives after his owner passed away. He is the SWEETEST boy and while he's usually off napping or watching the birds somewhere, his playful side comes out sometimes. He likes to chase mouse toys and bat at feather wands, but given the choice prefers to just get lots of pets and crunchy treats.

Coal is looking for a calm, quiet environment where he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves. A soft spot to land with someone who will care for him and make memories for your years to come what this handsome boy is searching for. He would be ok with other cats, so long as they are not too dominant. He is the best boy and we can't wait to see his next adventure in life, and he hopes that is with you.

About Ten Lives:

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.

Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!

All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
