Meet Athena! Athena is a beautiful 5-year-old gray tabby who has quickly settled into her foster home and is soaking up all the love she can get! Along with Marson, she’s been one of the quickest to adjust and has shown just how affectionate and people-oriented she is. Athena and four of her feline friends were left outside PetSmart a few weeks ago, and we believe their former pet parent may have been facing a difficult situation and needed a safe place for them quickly. Thankfully, their names, ages, and proof of spay/neuter were provided—so they are now safe, cared for, and ready for adoption.

This delightful girl absolutely thrives on attention—she loves being close to her foster mom, soaking up pets, and enjoying as much companionship as possible. Athena has a warm, friendly personality that makes her easy to fall in love with.

She would likely do well in a home with another cat, even one she hasn’t met yet, or of course with one of her fellow “Fab 5” companions. She may also be a great fit for a home with older, gentle children who will respect her loving nature.
