Cognac is a 2-year-old tuxedo boy with a heart as big as his personality—and just a little extra sparkle. He has a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which simply means he has the cutest little wobbles and head shakes. It’s non-progressive, doesn’t slow him down, and doesn’t require any special care—just adds to his charm!

This sweet boy absolutely lives for affection. Cognac will happily flop over for belly rubs, give you endless head butts, and lounge belly-up for hours as long as you remind him how special he is. If you’re looking for a loving, people-oriented companion, he’s your guy.

Cognac has grown up in a foster home with multiple dogs (including medium to XL sizes) and does great with them. He also gets along well with other cats, though a slow introduction is recommended. We believe he would do wonderfully with gentle, respectful kids who understand he’s just a tiny bit different.

He’s litter box trained and adjusts well to new environments with a little time and patience. Because of his wobbly nature and super-friendly personality, Cognac will need an indoor-only home where he can stay safe—he’s much more likely to roll over for belly rubs than run from danger!
