Sage had been a "foster fail" adoption after having a litter of kittens in the care of a former volunteer several years ago. She & another kitty who was also adopted from PAWS had to come back to the shelter when their owner could no longer care for them. They were not bonded, but Sage is cat friendly. Sage is a beautiful torbie 9yr old senior kitty who recently had surgery to remove a Grade 2 mammary carcinoma, and while her main mass was successfully cleared, she will need an adopter dedicated to her ongoing veterinary care. Because feline mammary tumors carry a high risk of recurrence or metastasis, she will require close medical monitoring and clinical staging to ensure she stays happy and comfortable. Sage has been microchipped, vaccinated, spayed & is ready for her furever home!
